Our original app project was a 3-month long assignment that started off with each individual student creating their own app idea. Afterwards, 7 app ideas that would be further developed were chosen. Everyone was placed in a group and had a role which could either be producer, writer, art director, programmer, or documentarian. As the art Director, I was in charge of making the website funcional and aesthetically pleasing to the audience. We used the theme of popular scary movies to invoke a feeling of comfort and the hypothetical fear that comes along with public speaking. We chose this idea because the issue is important to us since it is something we deal with everyday in our community, everyone in the world has issues with publicly speaking and we want to tackle this issue to create a society of more effective communicators.
